Plumhall’s reputation has seen them appear in – and write an original song for – the recent film ‘The Runaways’, and saw them invited onto the stage at the London Palladium to sing with the legendary Al Stewart.
As session musicians, Michelle and Nick have toured all over the world (Michelle with Chumbawamba and the European arena-filling Chris Norman Band; Nick with Magna Carta and The Hall Brothers). They have used these experiences to create a stunning live show. This show is the springboard for their songs, which boast “articulate, penetrating lyrics, captivating melodies, and irresistible choruses” (R&R Magazine).
With their new album, ‘The Ghost Of Noise’ (released in lockdown) the duo has expanded the boundaries of their sound, with eerily prescient songs that truly chime with the moment in their popular online performances. Do not miss this opportunity to see the band in their natural habitat.
“Michelle’s voice is crystal clear and assured.” – Folk London Magazine
“Plumhall bring elements of folk, pop and Americana to their sound; yet remain truly unique with an attitude and style that is very much their own. With stunning live arrangements of their own songs, plus some will-chosen covers, Michelle and Nick blend their voices and guitars beautifully, to create a atmosphere that is as inviting as it is compelling. Their musicianship and lyricism are a killer double-punch! Just see them … you won’t regret it.” – MEWL Music
“The heavens open and talent pours out.” – FATEA Magazine
“Feisty song-writers [with] exquisite harmonies and outstanding musicianship.” – Yorkshire Evening Post
“A hidden gem.” – The Guardian
