Events are by ticket or on the door when available. Some events are on a Pay What You Feel basis – these are hard times for musicians and artists so please give generously.

Rush Hour Jazz – Ed ‘Toots’ Kainyek

19th January - 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

Ed “Toots” Kainyek cites Dexter Gordan, Charlie Parker, Joe Henderson, Phil Woods and Grover Washington as key influences on his sax playing, although his sound is truly his own, and with each solo he makes his own statement.

An alumni of Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra he is now based in Salford where he runs rthe Thirsty Scholar club.

He’ll be supported at Seven Arts by the Jazzleeds trio – Will Powell guitar, Dom Moore drums, Steve Crocker bass
