Led by Bristol based singer Emily Wright, Moonlight Saving Time plays a very engaging set of popular standards and arranged in an interesting way. Moonlight Saving Time’s debut EP was recently featured by Jez Nelson on BBC Radio 3’s “Jazz on 3”.
Emily is a jazz vocalist with a unique, honest tone, a spirited bandleader and innovative composer with a refreshingly original approach to the jazz idiom.
The band have been receiving great critical acclaim for performances throughout the UK including Brecon, Cheltenham and Oxford jazz festivals, and recently played a sold-out show at London’s Pizza Express Jazz Club.
