Seven Live Extra – Chapel Allerton’s #1 Music Night

22nd April 2016 - 8:00 pm

Toby Noble and his Band

Presenting all-new material, this folk and bluegrass inspired band promise to bring a unique modern approach to traditional music making. Tipped as four excellent quality and highly experienced musicians, on guitar, double-bass, flute and mandolin, this band could be making waves very soon in the folk scene … and you could be telling people that you were there at their debut live performance!

Hatchet, Pike and Gun

This band take a whole range of musical styles from around the world; and still manage to produce a sound that somehow feels natural, whole and complete. With intricate melodies and an energetic, uplifing style, these three virtuoso musicians have formed into a unit that sounds like no other: bold, vivid and hypnotic, with performances that are hard to forget.

George Sansome and Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne

Traditional English songs and tunes from two members of BBC Young Folk Award nominees Granny’s Attic, featuring vocals, concertina, guitar and melodeon.

Patrick Rose

Fascinated by the traditional music of England and Ireland, not just for the music and song, but for the stories hidden beneath. This well travelled troubodour brings an intimate and engaging approach to folk music, which wins over audiences wherever he goes. We are delighted that he is making his first appearence here at Seven Arts, as part of the first Seven Live Extra.
