Barber B – A Play of Sorts

Barber B tells the extraordinary tale of how he created a renowned hair studio and training academy after teaching himself his craft.
Join Barber B as he recounts tales of how he began his journey into barbering. Set against the cultural backdrop of ’80s and ’90s Chapeltown, Leeds, Barber B moves through the characters, opportunities and obstacles which defined his career.
Alongside Barber B, Seki Lynch and the Original Gappy Ranks will present poetry and music. All three will be part of an interactive Q&A, where the audience will get a chance to ask about the piece, its contents and its process.
