TAKEN – WORKED – DISPLACED – WANTED – LOVED Written by Gareth Rhodes
After the War a Polish displaced man seeks a place of solace.
Yorkshire writers, Gareth Rhodes, Louise Record, and Neville Judson, recognised a common thread in three very different monologues that they had written. The common thread combined with the strong contrasts between them make the monologues ideal companion pieces for a single show. Seven Arts was chosen as the perfect venue for a staging of the show, with its tradition of presenting exciting, new, small scale works.
