Anna Chandler has been creating a stir in Leeds withe her superb alto sax and baritone sax playing with people like the Tom Sharpe Big Band, Fergus Quill’s Imaginary Big Band, We-bop and Shapeshifters.
She’s a huge fan of legends like Art Pepper and Johnny Hodges – you can hear it in her playing. This performance will be with her brand new Octet playing her own very varied and interesting take on the world of contemporary jazz.
