The Zak Parlby Quartet was founded in December 2023. Since then, Zak and his band have been working on a new set of original compositional works that follows the immediate progression of Zak’s artistry in both the saxophone and composition after graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in July 2024.
Sam Hughes Trio is led by musical director and guitarist Sam Hughes who brings his original compositions to fruition with the help of his friends and heavyweight artists in their own right, pianist Nika Ticcati and drummer Charlie Tanner. His original work explores places, people and influences of great significance to him through a contemporary jazz lens.
