The Adventures Of Captain Of The Lost Waves is a musical, storytelling fuelled show which is different every time. Taking its inspiration from music hall, vaudeville and folk/cabaret, fused with the modern twist of an intergalactic time detective’s travels. Where anthems, anecdotes and absurdity reign, expect improvisation and intuitive performance that will pull you in to a mystical and dream-like world.
This concert will be the first outing of the ‘launch of the ship’ … a bespoke theatrical extravaganza of props and lighting to engage you in an immersive visual and sonic experience. The Captain plays bouzouki, mandolin and ukulele; and tonight is joined by his stalwart Lieutenant, Muswell the Mute (classically trained accordion / accordina and melodeon player).

“A big thinker, a philosopher, a story teller, a ring master, musical magician, man of mystery and a writer of very strange and mystical songs.” – BBC Radio Wales
“Cinemascopic, epic, extraordinary and unique.” – Tom Robinson, BBC6 Music
